About Me

I am a graduate teacher and certified court interpreter for German and French with over 15 years of translation experience.

Translation is both my profession and my passion. Foreign languages have been present in my life since childhood, from my school days in Germany where I grew up bilingually, so my mother tongue is Croatian and my dominant language is German.

I completed my graduate studies in German and French language and literature at the University of Zadar. Thanks to long stays in countries of the mentioned language areas, I had the opportunity to get to know their culture, customs, everyday life, and make friends. I consider all of this to be very important elements needed in translation, because translation is not just translating words, but the skill of conveying the spirit of the text or spoken words.
